During the month of July and August the Malta Polo Academy (www.maltapolo.com) have put together a

summer camp for beginners.

During the 8 week course the students covered rules, regulations, 4 basic polo shots and a match. Amongst the students we had a 12 year old called “Miles” who proved himself well during the match at the end of the camp.

Some of the Students are now able enough to join the Malta Polo club, in club chukkas and eventually matches that the club organises throughout the season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Malta Polo academy was set up purposely to promote and create awareness, both locally and abroad, of polo in Malta.  

The academy also caters for the player to take individual private lessons or in a group.

Polo in Malta is played mostly from October to June however with the opening of the academy we are playing polo in Malta 365 days a year.
